The Scoop on Treating Leukemia with Cannabis
Chemotherapy and other treatments are typical for leukemia patients, but a recent study proves that as many as six different cannabinoids are cancer fighting agents. This, according to a post on Benzinga. The study was conducted by Dr. Wai Lui, an oncologist at St. George’s University London.

Through their study, he and his team discovered that certain cannabinoids served to disrupt and interfere with the development of cancerous leukemia cells. Not only that, but in certain instances, using specific dosing, the noted cannabinoids actually destroyed cancer cells. The study proved that the six cannabinoids mentioned were able to target and switch off pathways that normally allow the growth of cancer cells.
