On-Site Use to be Permitted in Alaska Cannabis Shops
Alaska marijuana shops will be some of the first in the nation to allow cannabis consumption on-site. A post on An-Nahar says that the first Alaskan cannabis retail stores that will be allowed to let customers consume weed products in the store have been approved. The approval of the measure came down to a 3-2 vote by Alaska’s Marijuana Control Board.

While some municipalities around the country have approved on-site cannabis consumption, Alaska is the first to issue approval at the state level. An owner of one of the marijuana shops that has been approved, Daniel Peters of GoodSinse, says the rule change is a dream come true. The first store to be open to on-site weed consumption expects to open in February.
