Master of Science in Cannabis Science and Commerce to be offered by AIC
American International College (AIC), in Springfield Massachusetts, will begin offering a Master of Science degree in cannabis, starting this fall term. As explained in a post on the WWLP website, the new degree is the first of its kind in the region and will cover the science, business, and legal issues surrounding the cannabis industry.

The 30-credit program, offered by American International College, will begin in August and consist of ten 7-week modules. According to AIC’s website, the course will include, “Analyz[ing] the effects of social, political, and cultural influences on the cannabis industry,” as well as business and science topics, including chemistry, horticulture, cultivation, uses, and delivery systems. The degree will also delve into federal and state cannabis laws and policies.
