Cannabis History: The War on Cannabis
Well before Richard Nixon made marijuana a schedule-1 drug in the 70s, the war on cannabis was already raging. But the most recent prohibition efforts aren’t the first in history. The article details a long history of struggle by farmers, consumers, and advocates of marijuana throughout the last several hundred years, spanning every corner of the globe.
