Cannabis Edibles Continue to Boom
The website NOSH, which covers the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, reports that cannabis edibles are a big part of the disruption cannabis has caused to the CPG industry. As the article reports, BDS analytics sees the global cannabis market reaching $41 billion by 2024, and edibles will account for a good portion of that number.

The article reports that 62% of cannabis consumers in legal markets use edibles, and 31% prefer them over other delivery methods. About half of the edible sales in legal markets come from candy, with 82% of that number coming from gummies, according to the article.
CBD edibles account for a portion of overall edibles sales, with 54% of consumers saying they have chosen edible products based on their CBD content. And other cannabinoid products are expected to grow in the market as well, such as CBG and CBN products.
