Can Cannabis Treat Anxiety, Obsessive Thoughts and OCD?
In a post on Benzinga today, they explore if cannabis could be an effective solution for those suffering from anxiety, obsessive thinking, and obsessive-compulsive Disorder. As the article explains, many people report using cannabis to treat their anxiety and depression, but there are possible downsides as well.

Of those who use cannabis regularly, 47% report using it to get a break from anxiety and/or depression symptoms. But others report that THC products increase their anxiety. So, which is correct? As plenty of cannabis research suggests, it depends on several factors.
Primarily, the amount of THC being ingested plays an important role in its effects on these symptoms. In short, lower doses of THC have been indicated to lessen anxiety and obsessive thoughts, while high doses can increase these symptoms. More research is needed and is currently being conducted.
