Another Congressional Hearing on Federal Cannabis Reform Coming
The House Subcommittee on Health will take up the topic of marijuana reform on January 15th. Marijuana Moment reports that this hearing comes two months after another House committee, the Judiciary Committee, approved the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act. That act is a wide-ranging piece of cannabis legislation, sponsored by Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), the committee’s chairman.

The article quotes Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) as saying, “As public opinion continues to evolve and cannabis policies change at all levels of government, it’s important to bring federal agency officials together to discuss current and future federal cannabis policies.”
